An Office Administrator for a dance studio manages day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring the studio runs smoothly. The role is primarily focused on supporting the business by handling customer inquiries, managing schedules, maintaining records, and assisting with the smooth flow of studio activities. The position requires evening shifts 2-3 times per week and Saturday mornings to accommodate classes and studio hours.

**Customer Service**:

- Provide information about class schedules, registration, pricing, and upcoming events.
- Handle registration and enrollment for new and returning students.

**Scheduling & Calendar Management**:

- Manage class schedules, ensuring accurate booking and coordination of classes, events, and private lessons.
- Update and maintain the studio’s calendar, including workshops, recitals, and other events.
- Coordinate with instructors to ensure availability and smooth transitions between classes.

**Data Entry & Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate student records, including contact information, class attendance, and payment histories.
- Process payments and keep financial records up-to-date.

**Administrative Support**:

- Assist with studio-related tasks, such as filing, inventory management (e.g., dance apparel, supplies), and office organization.
- Prepare and distribute communications to students, parents, and staff (e.g., newsletters, event reminders).
- Assist in preparing for performances or recitals, such as organizing costumes and rehearsal schedules.

**Invoicing & Billing**:

- Process tuition payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Ensure the timely preparation and distribution of invoices for students and families.

**Social Media & Marketing Support**:

- Help with promoting studio events and classes through social media platforms.
- Assist in preparing flyers, newsletters, and other marketing materials.

**Evening and Weekend Coverage**:

- Be present during evening hours (2-3 times per week) and Saturday mornings to assist with registration, class coordination, and customer service.
- Support instructors by ensuring smooth transitions and addressing any immediate student or parent needs during class times.

**Event Support**:

- Assist with organizing studio events, including recitals, showcases, and special performances.
- Help coordinate rehearsals, ticketing, and other event logistics.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.) and familiarity with scheduling software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for the arts and experience in the dance community is a plus.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.10-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
