Are you passionate about transforming health systems and making a tangible impact on the well-being of your community? We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team in the Toronto Region, working at the intersection of clinical programs, system capacity, and innovative patient care.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders—including the Vice President, Clinical Programs and the Director of Capacity, Access and Flow—as well as inter-departmental teams. Your work will span clinical and administrative areas, focusing on optimizing the function and performance of the broader health system.

This role is regional in nature and pertinent to the needs of the Toronto region.

Here is what you will be doing:
- Health System Planning & Improvement:
- Lead and conduct comprehensive analyses of the local health-care system using provincial and local data, community feedback, and other relevant sources.- Identify system gaps, improvement opportunities, and establish planning priorities.- Stay abreast of leading practices in access and flow both locally and in other jurisdictions, ensuring that the region remains at the forefront of health-care innovation.- Champion regional access and flow improvement initiatives from identification through to implementation.- Provide leadership to enhance Alternate Level of Care (ALC), Long-Term Care (LTC) and Behavioural Supports Ontario (BSO) indicators through actionable, data-informed plans and operational improvements.- Monitor access and flow performance metrics across the region and within specialized programs, effectively identifying trends, gaps, and new opportunities for advancement.- Support the development and execution of both short
- and long-term capacity plans to ensure seamless patient flow and service delivery across the health system.- Collaborative Environment: Work alongside forward-thinking leaders and multidisciplinary teams committed to health system excellence.- Impactful Work: Play a central role in shaping the future of health care access, capacity, and patient outcomes across the Toronto Region.- Professional Growth: Engage with complex challenges and develop innovative solutions, continuously learning from emerging best practices in health system management.- Community Engagement: Harness input from a diverse network of stakeholders to ensure responsive, patient-centered planning and implementation.

Here is what you will need to be successful:
Education and Experience- University degree in Health Administration, Health Care, Business Administration or related field; a Master’s degree is preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)- 5+ years experience in a health care environment required- Experience with data analysis- Financial acumen- Excellent computer skills required (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, SharePoint)- Proven ability to build, enhance and maintain strategic relationships with clinicians, local and provincial governments, health service providers and other key stakeholders to work in a variety of team situations

Knowledge and Skills- Strong understanding of health care system and continuum of care including clinical processes with ability to use data for improvement- Strong knowledge and understanding of Alternate Level of Care (ALC), Long-Term Care (LTC) and Behavioural Supports Ontario (BSO) services- Solid understanding of regional system access and flow and how it intersects with other stakeholders in the system- Good knowledge of community resources (e.g., services and
