**Role Overview**
We are looking for a **Business Development**salesperson who thrives on creating opportunities and forging lasting relationships. In this pivotal role, you will identify new avenues to market, develop strategic partnerships, and accelerate EnerLink’s growth trajectory. Your expertise will help position EnerLink as the trusted partner for energy solutions across diverse sectors.
Wage is negotiable based on experience. In addition to base wage, we are creating a commission/bonus system tied to revenue and other targets.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Drive Growth**: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market analysis, networking, and proactive outreach.
- **Strategic Planning**: Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with EnerLink’s vision and revenue goals.
- **Client Engagement**: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure long-term success.
- **Negotiation & Closing**: Lead contract negotiations and secure agreements that deliver mutual value.
- **Collaborate for Impact**: Work closely with marketing teams to design campaigns that generate leads and strengthen EnerLink’s brand presence.
- **Data-Driven Decisions**: Utilise CRM tools to manage pipelines, track performance, and analyse trends.
- **Cross-Functional Coordination**: Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and exceptional client experience.
- **Market Intelligence**: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging opportunities to maintain EnerLink’s competitive edge.
- **Compelling Communication**: Prepare persuasive proposals, presentations, and reports tailored to client needs.
**What We’re Looking For**
- Proven success in business development or sales, with a strong record of achieving targets.
- Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and digital tools to support growth initiatives.
- Familiar with the use of CRM platforms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not essential).
- Willing to travel for business
