Toronto, Canada TKB Custom Millwork Full time

TKB Group is a custom millwork and commercial furniture manufacturer offering state-of-the-art manufacturing and professional installation.

In the Purchasing role, you will be part of the team supporting our customers when needed. You will be supporting customers, suppliers/distributors, dealers, and contractors with a variety of technical issues related to our products. You will act as a estimator as well as a purchaser to build the purchase order for the client.

**Tasks include but not limited to**:

- Monitoring excessive inventories to help have a better cash flow.
- Handle tool requisitions from shop employees.
- Negotiate prices with existing and new vendors to get the best option in the market.
- Continuous follow up of all back orders with efficient computerized methods to make sure they get on-time on plant’s door.
- Receiving all purchased items according to POs and Packing Slips.
- Update vendors contact info that is in master vendor list and send out the vendor survey forms if necessary.
- Act as estimator on assigned projects and prepare purchase orders.
- Provide supplier status on POs as required.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 3 years industry experience is required.
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and high volume of work on deadline.
- Ability to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and fellow team members.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point).
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated prioritization and planning skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
