As a Purchaser at Holman, you’ll be the go-to person for sourcing materials, negotiating deals, and making sure everything arrives exactly when it’s needed. You’re on-site everyday at our Lesmill location.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Purchasing with Purpose**:

- Partner with the Project Management team to nail down exactly what’s needed for each job.
- Create, issue, and track purchase orders (POs).
- Spot potential risks—like timeline hiccups or budget surprises—and keep the Project Manager in the loop.
- Support the Estimating team by building solid relationships with suppliers and negotiating like a pro to get the best prices and terms on materials like wood, acrylic, metal, lighting, graphics and more.
- Tackle supply chain challenges head-on, from damaged goods to shipment mix-ups.
- Stay ahead of the curve by exploring new materials and suppliers that can save us time and money without sacrificing quality.
- Always be on the lookout for ways to make our processes faster, smarter, and more cost-effective.

**What You Bring**:

- 2-3 years experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, ideally in a project-driven environment.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong, productive relationships.
- Top-notch organizational skills and a knack for staying on top of multiple tasks.
- A solutions-focused mindset and the ability to stay cool under pressure.
- A passion for exploring new materials and staying in tune with industry trends.
- Experience in QuickBooks an asset.
- Comfort with navigating spreadsheets within Microsoft Excel.
