Conference Producer, Kidscreen

This is a full-time position at a world-leading business publication and events company. Brunico Communications operates permanently on a hybrid in-office and work-from-home schedule, with two days a week in our downtown Toronto office (required) and three days remote. **Responsibilities**:

- Book conference speakers, collecting contact info, bios and headshots for every speaker
- Register speakers for the event in Brunico’s database and ensure all details are correct
- Carefully and consistently maintain speaker/session tracking documentation
- Prepare speakers for event with all relevant information, including session details, obligations, AV arrangements, waivers and travel arrangements
- Create and maintain the event agenda
- Work across Brunico to ensure all internal departments are aware of event progress and details
- Manage and monitor event session execution at the event, supporting speakers and staff
- Track event costs with respect to the budget
- Assist content team in developing conference session topics that will engage and inform delegates
- Act as lead producer for the Kidscreen Awards program, which involves recruiting judges and ensuring they hit assessment deadlines; preparing the judging platform for each round of judging; tabulating results and carefully checking winners lists/trophy credits; working with editorial, creative, logistics and AV vendors to identify, book and prepare hosts for the awards ceremony; and develop the run of show and serve as a central point of contact for production on site
- Oversee production of the awards show’s script, working with hosts and content team to ensure the script is executed, updated and delivered in an industry-standard and professional manner
- Assist content team with execution of the Kidscreen Hot50 industry ranking and the Kidscreen Next Wave mentoring programs on an as-needed basis

**Qualifications**:

- Strong project management, critical thinking and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Experience dealing with high-level executives, PR representatives and/or speaker agencies
- Personable, with strong written and verbal communications skills
- Self-motivated and able to work on a project both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to complete a variety of simultaneous tasks, meeting all deadlines
- Experience handling bursts of intense work and ability to respond well under pressure
