**Distribution Coordinator**

True North Salmon, a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing east coast family company, with Platinum Member status in the Canada’s Best Managed Companies Program, is offering a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the Company’s sales team as Inside Sales Staff based out of **_AC Covert Seafoods Distribution Centre_** located in Dartmouth, NS. This position reports to the Distribution Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with internal departments, such as sales, production, and customer service, to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure seamless transportation and delivery of products.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, such as delays or damages.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and updates.
- Evaluate and optimize distribution processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Provide basic administrative support and other operational tasks as required.

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a Distribution Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of distribution processes, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
