**The Role**
- **Part time leading to full time**:

- Ensure client’s payroll is done on time, and accurately using various payroll software and your brain full of payroll rules and regulations
- Monthly reporting is done on time and sent to clients
- That every client relationship is nurtured and managed simultaneously in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- That documentation and processes are kept up to date

**Who You Are**
- We are looking for an accounting unicorn, but we believe they are out there. Do you possess these attributes?
- A solid understanding of various payroll software systems such as Payment Evolution and Wagepoint (among others)
- A solid understanding of regulations of Canadian Payroll Standards
- Experience with tax filings such as HST, WSIB, T4s, etc
- Prior experience in a fast-paced payroll position
- Have fantastic written, and oral communication skills, as well as social and well-spoken; client service, is our number one priority, we need you to be comfortable fielding questions and forming relationships
- Can work independently and as part of a team, being both a self-starter and able to take direction
- Seriously well organized

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Payroll: 3 years (required)
- Payment Evolution: 1 year (preferred)
- Accounting Firm: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or CPM certification (required)

Work Location: On the road
