The School of Rehabilitation Science is in the Faculty of Health Sciences, characterized by interdisciplinary, inter-professional, and inter-institutional cooperation with overall goals of excellence in education, research and clinical service.

McMaster’s School of Rehabilitation Science is acclaimed nationally and internationally for its educational programs and leadership in clinical research and evidence-based practice. The School has professional Masters-level programs in Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, and Physiotherapy, as well as research graduate programs (MSc and PhD) and a Master of Health Management Program in partnership with the DeGroote School of Business.

Full Time Teaching Track Faculty and Director of Clinical Education, Speech-Language Pathology

The role is comprised of scholarship, teaching, and service, in addition to administrative activities. Responsibilities include teaching in the SLP program; and developing, planning, coordinating, facilitating, monitoring, and evaluating clinical education and related activities; on behalf of the academic program and in coordination with academic and clinical faculty.

The successful applicant will have a record of excellence and innovation, and experience in teaching, will demonstrate a commitment to professional integrity and contemporary SLP practice, and must be eligible to register as an SLP in Ontario. Preferred qualifications are a minimum of three to five years of SLP clinical experience, including experience as a clinical preceptor/instructor, and experience in an academic environment.

Vaccination Policy Statement
