Carmen Transportation is a leading cross-border trucking company specializing in TL and LTL freight. We prioritize efficiency, strong driver relationships, and top-tier customer service.

We are hiring a **Weekend Dispatch Support Specialist** for a **full-time salaried position.** This role covers weekend operations, ensuring the smooth execution of freight movements, assisting drivers, and handling real-time problem-solving. While the primary shift is **Friday - Sunday, 7 AM - 5 PM**, the position includes **after-hours on-call support on Saturday and Sunday**.

**We recognize that weekend coverage requires dedication, so we offer a competitive full-time salary for this role.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- ** Weekend Operations Management**: Oversee truck movements, track loads, and provide dispatch support.
- ** Driver Assistance**: Address driver concerns, routing issues, and unexpected delays in real time.
- ** Load Coordination**: Ensure proper freight assignments and resolve any last-minute changes.
- ** Customer & Broker Communication**: Provide shipment updates and coordinate issue resolution.
- ** Emergency Handling**: Respond to after-hours escalations on **Saturday and Sunday** (another team covers Friday night).
- ** Compliance & Reporting**: Maintain up-to-date records, driver HOS tracking, and handover reports for Monday’s team.
- ** Manage Cross-Docking Needs**: Oversee the handling of freight needing to be cross-docked to service on Monday.

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of dispatch trucking operations experience
- Proficient in transportation software (Truckmate, PC Miler, Omnitracs) and MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of supply chains, HOS regulations, and North American geography
- Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills
