**Quality Assurance Analyst**
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives
This position working with PPG Aerospace division, located at **50 Raglin Rd, Cambridge, ON N1T 1Z5, Canada.**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate the development, implementation and maintenance of corporate and plant level procedures, work instructions and records to comply with Metokote’s Quality Policy Manual (TS16949) and customer expectations including performing or assigning all auditing responsibilities.
- Ensure corrective actions are addressed in a timely manner.
- Complete all testing requirements & appropriate documentation as required by customers.
- Monitor rejected / non-conforming material and customer returned goods and provide the appropriate reports & documentation to customer, supplier and management.
- Ensure that rejected material is sorted and analyzed; provide corrective actions where appropriate.
- Act as a customer & supplier liaison where required.
- Report month end chemical inventories and quality reports to appropriate corporate contact(s).
- Assist in reporting, tracking, and determining disposition of rejection material, PPAP, APQP
- Product Test Measurement data collection, entry, and analysis (graphical & statistical); using MS Excel & Minitab.
- Calibration of measuring and other lab equipment. Prepare SOP and work instructions for production line.
- Reinforce a quality culture that includes generation and maintenance of quality processes, systems, and standards
- Ensure execution of all Quality Assurance tasks through the production process in accordance with internal procedures, and customer directed requirements. Visit customer site as needed.
- Complete other job duties as required.
**Qualifications**
- **4-year University educational degree in materials or chemicals field preferred**.
- Solid Work Organization & Time Management Skills.
- Maintains a strong work ethic with an attention to detail & a good eye for accuracy.
- Demonstrates a consistently positive attitude. Flexibility to change shifts in short notice.
- Interests in working collaboratively within the Quality team & with other functions towards positive change.
- Open & Honest Communicator. Must have a sense of urgency.
- Methodical problem-solver, with a questioning & resilient spirit.
- Demonstrated desire & ability to learn.
**Requirements**:
- **2+ Manufacturing Quality Work Experience** will be considered.
- Good Communication Skills (listening, verbal, reading, & written).
- Basic Mathematical Skills; familiarity with the Imperial and Metric System.
- Computer literacy; sound knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, & MS Office including MS Excel. Ideally, prior experience with statistical software (Minitab) & SAP is an asset.
- Prior training in & experience with, Continuous Improvement, 5S, MSA, SPC
