**What you will be Doing**:

- Assist with the installation and setup of automation systems, including wiring, programming, and configuring controllers, sensors, and actuators.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with automated equipment, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Perform systematic testing to pinpoint malfunctions in PLCs, sensors, actuators, and communication networks.
- Assist in programming and configuring PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and other automation devices.
- Modify existing programs under the guidance of senior technicians or engineers.
- Instrumentation, electrical and control system design support.
- Provide support to project managers with a solid understanding of project execution procedures and functions such as scheduling, budget development and maintenance and scope tracking.

**Your Skills and Qualifications**:

- 5 years of experience in an Instrumentation & Electrical maintenance role.
- Focused experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.
- Instrumentation Engineering Technologist or Instrumentation Journeyman.
- Electrical Engineering Technologist or Electrical Journeyman.
- RTU experience with one or more of the following vendor systems: ABB Totalflow/RMC, Emerson ROC/FloBoss, Schneider Electric SCADAPack.
- Knowledge of PLC & HMI’s (such as Allen-Bradley, Idec, Siemens).
- Knowledge and experience with various industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet IP, Profibus. ROC, etc).
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics and control diagrams.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Experience with on-site commissioning and start-up.
- Understanding of industrial environments, engineering, and production processes.
- Excellent English, written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and clean abstract.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills
- Quick learner; able to adapt to new technologies rapidly.
- A structured approach to problem solving and project execution with the ability to plan, prioritize, and work under pressure to meet expectations and deadlines.
- Ability to work successfully both individually and within team environments.
- Highly motivated & ability to conduct themselves in a professional manner.
- Focus on client service.
- Be a result driven individual who takes ownership of problems and sees them through to completion.
- Must possess a high level of attention to detail.
- Works well in a constantly changing environment.
