HYDMECH CANADA Corp is the North American leader in the design and manufacturing of metal cutting bandsaws HYDMECH, a subsidiary of MEP SpA based in Italy which is part of Group Legris Industries based in France. You will be part of a global organization with locations in the US, Europe, China and South America where advancement from within the organization is supported. The Company is large enough to bring cross functional teams together to solve issues yet small enough that every individual’s efforts will make a difference.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will perform specific production duties, including material handling and parts preparation and grinding. In addition, assists in simple assembly and general manufacturing activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deburr and/or grind metal parts.
- Prepare parts and assembled components for painting by cleaning and taping as required.
- Perform various simple assembly, clean-up and general manufacturing tasks as required.
- Hang and wash on paint line.

**Minimum Education/Experience**:
1. High school diploma (or equivalent);
2. Some work experience and/or training.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions in the English language; Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one setting and to other employees of the department.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
