Event Producer

We design and produce in-person, virtual and hybrid events each year that engage audiences around the world, utilizing a unique blend of human-centered design, data science and loyalty mechanics to create meaningful experiences which connects a brand’s most important audiences.

**What you’ll do**:

- Assist the Executive Producer and project teams in collaborating with clients to shape and develop innovative and impactful staging solutions with critical mapping of event logistics and communication plans to meet all client objectives:

- Including sourcing keynote speakers, entertainment options, venue logistics, production, and budgeting
- Oversee production and technical aspects of assigned events and act as point of contact for clients, organizers, production team and 3rd party vendors.
- Liaison with internal and 3rd party Audio-Visual, Platform and Exhibit partners to negotiate pricing and establish solutions and timelines.
- Plan, attend and execute site inspections to ensure venues are adequate for the solution(s) developed.
- Create production timelines and ensure teams are keeping-to-schedule.
- Lead onsite production by developing floorplans, run sheets, and calling show - queuing and directing all technical stage production while participating in client rehearsals as required.
- Create and manage the production budget for assigned events ensuring change to scope is effectively managed and accurately reflected.
- Must be flexible and willing to travel on-site to manage Audio-Visual partner(s), stage manage assigned events, and other ad hoc requirements as deemed necessary.
- Provide project management to ensure success of all associated deliverables (including communication of project status, timelines, and delivery of information to internal teams).
- Review all post-event production budgets for final reconciliation.
- Research and stay current with design trends, entertainment, production, vendor products, and new industry technologies.

**What you have**:

- A minimum of 2-3+ years’ experience in meeting and event production or experience working as a corporate events producer supporting top tier clients:

- Strong project management, event logistics and event production experience driving end-to-end delivery and process improvements.
- Event strategy experience with demonstrated know-how to bring to life a creative solution that shows the client we understand how to bring their story to life.
- Post-secondary education in Events, Business, Marketing, Creative or Communications.
- Background knowledge and experience as a stage manager, on-site, audio visual or theatre production is considered an asset with a track record of producing high-quality large-scale meetings, events, or productions.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team while continuing to remain a champion of providing exceptional client service and building lasting relationships.
- Able to effectively communicate and collaborate across various business groups, clients, and partners while remaining calm and focused to solve problems effectively in high stress situations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an eye for quality service while able to work accurately under tight deadlines effectively managing multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal, planning, organization, and professional communication skills (written and verbal).
- Willing to work at events that take place on evenings and weekends (may include potential for extended workdays), with the ability travel to locations across Canada as required.
