Purpose
The goal of Product Marketing Lead is to develop the product marketing strategy and function across the NDT Global Group product portfolio. The incumbent will develop go-to-market framework and strategy for product positioning and messaging. The Product Marketing Lead will leverage their strong expertise in market segmentation, competitive analysis, and sales enablement initiatives to ensure alignment of the product function across sales, product management, and operations. This role will ensure successful development and execution of all activities under the product marketing domain.
Job Overview
- Lead the framework and guidelines on crafting product positioning statement, naming, and messaging to ensure clarity and alignment with target buyer personas across all marketing channels.
- Accountable to oversee the performance of product marketing KPIs, success metrics, and reporting.
- Ensure product marketing team develop and release first class sales enablement materials, such as product sheets, battle cards, and presentations, to equip the sales team with the necessary tools to close deals.
- Develop the framework and success metrics for go-to-market strategies across the NDT Global Group product portfolio.
- Ensure product marketing function performs quarterly market and competitor intelligence. Use insights to refine marketing strategies, product positioning, and communicate across the organization.
- Ensure product marketing team is successful in executing all marketing activities for product launches, including planning, execution, and post-launch analysis to ensure successful market entry.
- Lead market segmentation and channel knowledge, leveraging different marketing channels and tactics to promote the product portfolio.
- Act as the product marketing function lead liaison, guiding the Product Marketing Specialist to ensure alignment on product marketing strategy between relevant teams.
Education
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, with focus in Product Marketing, or related education is required
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of working experience in a product marketing position is required
- Must have 3 years in a lead role, overseeing the success of the product marketing function
- Must have prior supervisory experience
- Experience working in a technology B2B environment is preferred
- Experience working in a global matrix organization is preferred
- Proven experience in go-to-market execution and product launches
- Well versed in market research and competitor analysis
