**JOB SUMMARY**
This role is a hybrid between Inside Sales and Warehouse and will include helping to organize the warehouse operations of receiving and moving products within the warehouse. Performs a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient and effective management of receiving and shipping activities to meet customer needs.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for receiving, loading and unloading trailers, picking orders, restocking product and shipping with the use of a hand and mechanical trucks
- Ensures all orders are picked and ready for shipment in a safe and timely manner
- Project picks and returns management
- Responsible for inventory cycle counts and inventory reviews
- Process customer orders, and/or vendor purchases and manufacturing requirements into our operating programs promptly and accurately while maintaining a work pace that meets acceptable standards.
- Respond to customer inquiries, price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations in a time sensitive manner.
- Answer questions regarding order information, shipping issues and non-technical product information.
- Build a good comprehension and knowledge of industry products and specifications.
- Optimizes the use of warehouse resources to meet customer shipping requirements
- Interact with team about customer related issues, challenges, and qualified leads and prospects.
- Communicate effectively with the team to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Maintain up-to-date records of sales orders, purchase orders, and return orders accurately.
- Maintaining the company’s reputation of exceptional customer service in every interaction.
- Other duties as assigned which include driving
- Participation in the on-call rotation
- Ensures customer orders are completed
- Accountable for productivity and efficiencies of warehouse operations
- Ensures all orders are picked and ready for shipment in a safe and timely manner; reports any exceptions to stakeholders
- Maintains regular communication with customers/sales staff regarding service/delivery matters
- Optimizes the use of warehouse resources to meet customer shipping requirements
- Ensures efficient operations are maintained by optimizing availability of efficient and safe equipment, identifying process improvement opportunities, etc.
- Reports any damage to equipment or shipments, ensuring photographs and reports are completed.
- Maintains a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment
- Other duties as assigned which include driving

**Qualifications**:
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS**
- Minimum 2-3 years in the warehousing or distribution sector/inside sales experience
- Consistently able to lift 50lbs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and work well in a team environment
- Ability to effectively handle multiple conflicting priorities
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time sensitive orders
- Good computer skills
- Industry experience and/or product knowledge is an asset
- Attention to detail required
- Valid forklift license
