**As a part of our amazing Nisku team, you will be immersed in the daily operations and maintenance of our onsite warehouse, logistic needs and customer service. Leverage your expertise advising customers & provide an exceptional customer experience. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include but are not limited to:

- Pick orders accurately and in a time frame established by Distribution Manager
- Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking; ensuring accuracy in each stage of the order process
- Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
- Operate forklifts, hand trucks or other materials-handling equipment proficiently and safely (training available)
- Help assemble orders and wrap skids as required
- Unpack and store goods in the correct areas ensuring goods are labeled correctly
- Assist in Shipping, Receiving, Quality Control and Modification area when needed
- May be required to drive the company vehicle and make deliveries
- Keep areas clean and tidy; dump garbage as required
- Greet customers and help meet their needs both in person and by phone
- Sell merchandise, offer alternatives, if stock is unavailable
- Assist customers with returns and exchange
- Process payments (cash, cheques, direct debit, charge); count and balance cash at the end of the day
- Call customers when orders are ready for pick up
- Maintain current knowledge of products
- Operate a computerized inventory system
- Estimate or quote prices
- Other duties as assigned by manager

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Front order desk, order counter, telephone
- Weekdays, daytime
- Extensive computer and phone use, some sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs. as needed
- Fast paced environment, little 'downtime'

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 3+ years experience with industrial supply sales
- Initiative and a great, approachable, friendly attitude
- Accurate with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent time management, problem solving, multitasking and communication skills
- Teamwork, flexibility, punctual
- Able to work under pressure, with tight timelines

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
