ETSM Technical Services Ltd. is a custom manufacturing facility in Guelph that has been family owned and operated since 1985. We are a custom machine shop and manufacturer that offers a diverse range of technical services — custom machine design, machining, fabrication, welding, automation and process control, millwrighting, and maintenance.

We are looking for someone to fill a permanent, full time Quotations and Cost Analyst position**. **You will be required to maintain communications with suppliers & customers to ensure quality standards are met. You will work to assist team members to ensure that work is performed effectively and efficiently. Wage will be commensurate with experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a continuous working relationship with customers while staying abreast of customer demands and making sure (schedule, cost, quality) demands are continuously met.
- Analyze drawings and/or specifications to determine project requirements.
- Submit customer quotations.
- Source material, some purchasing and expediting.
- Job costing and analysis.
- Assist to provide technical support to the sales, production and project management teams as required.
- Create, detail and update project schedules.
- Ensure product quality and safety.
- Assist in coordinating shipping arrangements.

**Specific Skills, Abilities or Aptitudes**:

- Strong customer service skills with an ability to develop, maintain and nurture client relationships.
- Strong practical manufacturing background (ie. welding and/or machining operations)
- Knowledge of material properties and processes
- CAD drafting experience of mechanical engineered products (an asset)
- Professional demeanor
- Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) in English
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Team player and can work independently
- Is able to take direction and initiative
