**Overview**
We’re looking for our first Program Manager, Retail Operations to join our Vancouver HQ Reporting to our Director, Business Excellence, the Program Manager, Retail Operations will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all retail operations and initiatives for Vessi’s emerging retail channel, with a focus on operational efficiency and effectiveness.

We’ll be looking to you to develop and implement strategies to support store sales success, work with vendors and partners for existing stores and new store openings, analyze data and metrics to measure the success of the retail program, and provide recommendations for overall improvements.

We’re looking for a seasoned professional from the retail industry who has strong problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of operational processes and the ability to wear multiple hats and handle several projects at once.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Function as the key point of contact for stores, supporting the effective flow of information between HQ and store(s) leadership (plan, create and distribute communications)
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholder groups to review, identify, clarify and prioritize ongoing operational support and issues
- Champion continuous improvement efforts for retail stores (existing and new store openings) by identifying opportunities to improve performance and mitigate risk (own and maintain the program roadmap)
- Accountable for tracking KPIs and reporting on program performance on an ongoing basis, including preparing quarterly business reviews (QBR’s) for leadership review
- Oversee and coordinate the implementation of new retail processes and initiatives at store locations, with a focus on operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Work with Store Managers to ensure initiatives are on budget and within the set timeline
- Enable cross-functional strategies to drive productivity in retail locations, inclusive of inventory management, people and staffing tactics, campaign activation and technology solutions
- UAT for any program enhancements
- Collaborate with vendors and partners to support store(s) and with continuous improvement initiatives
- Deliver insights based on in-store KPIs and behavior and package into actionable initiatives to solve operational and performance gaps

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, or related field
- 7+ years of professional experience in a retail organization or related field
- Proven experience delivering complex, collaborative projects with many stakeholders
- Experience in the retail industry and a deep understanding of operational processes and best practices (system process flows and requirements)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple work streams and balance competing priorities
- Data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Passion for quality, on time delivery
- Proven ability to build meaningful and lasting relationships with cross functional teams

**It’s a Bonus If You Have**:

- Project Management certification or equivalent experience
- A background in Consulting, with a focus on retail strategy, operations or technology enablement
