**GKM Consultants**, a Canadian company with a proven experience in geo-technical and structural instrumentation projects, as well as in vibration and noise control and monitoring, is recognized in Canada and internationally for its expertise. We provide customized and innovative monitoring solutions and have all the resources required to complete the various phases of instrument installation and commissioning throughout construction. Our worldwide operations deliver projects in multiple sectors, including mining, civil engineering, energy and the environment. Our head office is located in Sainte-Julie, Québec.

We are seeking an energetic person for the role of
**Field Technician **to be based at our
**Toronto, ON **office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Field coordination and Site Liaison
- Supervision of drilling operation for installation of geotechnical instruments
- Quality assurance
- Manual survey using total station (GKM will provide training)
- Installation of automated total station (GKM will provide training)
- Majority of working days spent on site at construction projects
- Data processing and reporting

Qualifications:

- Good communication skills: and an ability to adapt quickly to an ever-changing environment (i.e., policies, procedures, technologies, and best practices)
- Proficient in CAD software
- Excellent in MS Excel

**_ Physical Requirements:_**
- Physical strength and stamina
- Ability to continuously stand or walk
- Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently
- Able to manipulate power tools
- Able to work at height (GKM will provide training)
