**Role Summary**:

- **The Campus Manager will**_**be responsible for all day-to-day operations of the IDEA Lab Kids Centre. She/he will oversee the staff supervision, training and coaching, programming, building relationships with families and children, parent engagement, connecting & networking with the community, coordinating schedules and assuming administrative responsibilities related to the daily operations.**_
- **A Campus Manager will be the highest authority at work, although they may report to an owner(s). They should make sure that all the wheels are turning at their centre, and therefore are the go-to for any problems that may arise. They should be diligent taskmasters who can think quickly on their feet.**_

**Staff Management/Staff Training**
- Responsible for the hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff, students, and volunteers, including staffing for P.A. Days, Winter Break, March Break, Summer Camp, Birthday Parties, On-sites and Afterschool programs.
- Conduct ongoing individual supervision, including but not limited to: staff performance; provision of feedback; goal setting; coaching and mentoring; development and succession planning.
- Develop and carryout annual assessments of staff.
- Passing on clear instruction to the staff when needed and holding staff meetings weekly and monthly.
- Ensure all background checks have been processed, scheduling, filing timesheets, and observing staff performance.

**Attracting Prospective Clients/Marketing**
- Develop strategies to attract more customers.
- Conduct surveys with customers (students/families) on-occasion or on a regular basis and conducting data analyses.
- Map out a marketing plan so the local neighborhood is aware of your services.
- Providing tours to prospective families and staying active through community outreach.
- Maintain social media posts and accounts and implementing a social media calendar.
- Going above and beyond the social media calendar to take photos, add stories/posts of your centre on social media platforms with hashtags
- Creating a marketing plan to reach out to local schools, libraries, community centres, etc. to create on-site partnerships. You will be responsible for developing these on-site partnerships, meeting with and presenting your plan/curriculum to potential partners.

**Operations/Programming & Customer Engagement**
- Maintain child/teacher ratios (1:12)
- Keeping staff files up to date.
- Responsible for providing information to prospective parents, such as programs, fees, and the enrollment process.
- Addressing parents’ concerns in a timely manner and making sure that any concerned raised by the parents is addressed appropriately.
- Manage the child enrollment process on an ongoing basis.
- Lead all program planning for the site (afterschool, Birthday Parties, Onsites).
- Lead all program planning for PA Days, Winter Break, March Break, and Summer Camps.
- Solicit parent feedback regarding their child on a daily basis; listen to parental concerns and respond appropriately; act as a resource to parents regarding issues, such as child development, age appropriateness, etc.; provide support and empathy to parents while maintaining a professional and objective relationship with them.
- Respond to parents’ queries regarding various matters (e.g. fees, medication, health, clothing, food, community services, etc.).
- Evaluate the programs to ensure they meet the needs of individual children and the needs of the group.
- Ensuring policies and procedures are followed at all times, including maintaining the health and safety for all stakeholders.
- Submit Purchase Requests, Expense Forms, and receipts to Head Office as per the Centre’s procedures. This includes providing receipts and documentation to support credit card bills.

**Develop Programming and Curriculum**
- Work closely with the centre’s teachers and staff and review the curriculum or classes you are offering so that you can teach it effectively.
- Learn the programs/curriculum well enough so that you may also be able to teach a class in the event of being short-staffed.

**Budgeting/Accounting**

**Reporting (but not limited to the following)**
- On a monthly basis (annual report to summarize a full year view)
- Staff meeting summaries
- Number of students (concurring & new), birthday parties held, on-site classes, etc.
- Quarterly survey analyses
- On-site opportunity insights
- Financial summaries
- Curriculum and customer (parents/students) feedback (as applicable)
- Any other issues (as applicable)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
