Concrete Lead

CementWright Concrete and Construction is looking for an honest, experienced, creative tradesman to lead a small crew. We are willing to train the right person, and will give substantial independence, opportunity, and responsibility once we are confident in them. We are flexible, pay overtime, and can offer year round work for the right people. Our goal is to have a company we would want to work for.

Must have:

- Reliable ability to get to site and driver’s license
- High School Diploma
- Good people skills and communication
- 5 years construction experience
- Leadership experience
- Strong math skills
- Ability to read blueprints & layout sites
- Journeyman or 3rd year apprentice carpentry (Red Seal preferred)

Experience we like:

- Carpentry and other trades experience (including mechanics, welding, heavy equipment)
- Concrete finishing and prep experience including forming structural concrete with Peri/Doka forms, setting close tolerance anchor bolts, flatwork.
- Structural concrete experience
- ICF & Foundation experience
- Decorative concrete experience
- Landscaping, framing/decking or bricklaying experience.
- Timber framing or fine woodworking
- Commercial and industrial construction experience
- High tolerance/superflat floor experience (Face Floor system understanding)
- Farm background/sports/outdoors
- Equipment operation including pulling gooseneck trailers in tight spaces
- Machine operation, including excavator and skidsteer
- Understanding of excavation, compaction, & layout practices, including use of total stations and laser levels.
- Previous experience leading people

CementWright & DirtWright are divisions of our construction company. We focus on concrete construction and demolition, landscaping design-build, and general contracting/full project delivery of projects like shops, garages, and some commercial/civil projects. Technical work is a specialty of ours.

**Salary**: $26.25-$44.71 per hour
