Interprovincial Cooperative Limited (IPCO), a respected leader in the Agricultural industry, is currently recruiting **Casual Production Worker(s)** to join our production team. This seasonal position consists of 37.5 hours per week and lasts roughly 8-9 months. We are currently seeking casual workers for
- day shift (Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3 pm),
- evening shift, (Monday - Friday, 3 pm - 11 pm), and
- night shift (Sunday - Thursday, 11 pm - 7 am).

Pay rates start at $17.61 per hour with shift premiums, and pay increases after 975 hours. IPCO believes in development and growth and offers good opportunities to advance to full-time employment.

**If selected, and upon acceptance of this safety sensitive position/conditional job offer, applicants will be required to undergo a Substance and Alcohol Test in accordance with IPCO policies**

**What you’ll do**:Under the guidance of the Line Leaders and Shift Supervisors, Casual Production Workers are responsible for contributing to safe, quality, and efficient packaging processes to meet the established production standards.
- manual handling of packaging materials,
- operating packaging equipment,
- general cleaning and housekeeping,
- performing quality inspections throughout the entire packaging process,
- ensuring equipment is operating properly,
- reporting any issues to the Line Leader or Supervisor, following all health and safety requirements including wearing personal PPE,
- following all company policies and procedures and other company programs such as respectful workplace and contamination prevention, meeting expectations of the position, and performing all other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years’ experience in a production/manufacturing environment - Preferred
- 1 year of forklift driving experience - Preferred
- Solid work references, punctual/dependable with reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a team environment, a can-do attitude, and ability to multi-task
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Mechanical background preferred, experience with hazardous materials preferred
- Knowledge of Quality Control and Inventory Control processes is preferred
- Leadership skills are preferred
