Winnipeg MB RX Y, Canada Piccola Cucina Inc. Full time

Piccola Cucina is an established food manufacturing business located in Winnipeg and has been manufacturing and selling products for over 16 years. We are looking for a motivated, hard working, positive individual to join our production team.

The Production Worker will be a temporary part time team member helping in the manufacturing of Piccola Cucina's suite of products. The Production Worker is responsible for all manufacturing tasks throughout the entire manufacturing process.

Responsibilities:

  • Weigh and batch ingredients
  • Mix dough and use equipment to manufacture suite of bakery products
  • Bake products and package
  • Operate equipment safely
  • Stand and perform production tasks for up to 7 hours at a time.
  • Lift and stack up to 20 kg at a time
  • Make boxes, package food products, apply labels
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Abilities

  • You have at least 2 years experience working in a baking or food production environment or you are a graduate of a certified baking program
  • knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP procedures
  • You like working in a fast paced environment and are detail-oriented
  • You have the ability to multi-task and are adaptable
  • You are a team player
  • You are health and safety conscious with a customer-focused approach
