Quality Assurance Manager

Job Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain the company quality system to satisfy customer specific and IATF 16949 requirements
- Manage department personnel and resources to ensure all required quality assurance checks and test are performed at the proper frequency. Take appropriate action based on the outcome of these tests.
- Liaise with customer quality department representatives on new part submissions, open areas of concern or defects, etc.
- Manage and implement corrective actions together with the production departments within the company
- Support new product launches as newly developed parts move from the prototype stage into mass production launch. Be a vocal an active member of the APQP launch team to recognize product quality concerns and follow up on corrective actions with the appropriate production department.

Qualifications:

- Education: University or College Diploma in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years quality manufacturing experience and a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
- Skills: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
