Schedule: rotating 8 hours, Mon-Fri, occassional weekends and OT

As a Quality Assurance Technician (QA Tech), you ensure that all products are safe to consume and meets customer specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Timely collection and analysis of production samples and organoleptic evaluation of finished product; verification of proper coding and labeling of finished product
  • Coordinate holding of out-of-spec product according to established procedures, document hold and/or Quality Incidents in Non-Conformance data base, and use of computer system for inventory transactions, Quality data entry/analysis, communication via Microsoft Outlook
  • Participate in morning taste panel, compliance with all safety policies and good manufacturing practices, and provide input to resolve production issues while maintaining all quality and food safety requirements
  • Conduct Sanitation Verification Activities as required (ATP, Micro Swabbing, Visual Verification, Allergen Swabbing)
Skills and Experience:

  • University Degree or College Diploma in a Science related field or a combination of education and experience

  • Excellent communication skills, dependable, flexible, excellent math skills

  • Ability to work all 3 shifts on a rotating basis

  • Experience in quality analysis and/or product analysis

  • SAP experience
