- Reporting to the Director of Shared Operations, Manager: Operations, ESG and Business Resilience is a unique Operations support & Strategy role that requires developing long term strategies, frameworks and vision of multiple operations portfolios while also leading day to day operations of our fleet department. The Manager, Operations & ESG will manage four main areas of responsibility:
- Work with Corporate teams and Cogeco internal and external stakeholders to deliver on key ESG initiatives and objectives
- Drive the evolution, roadmap and maintenance of Cogeco Corporate Fleet of vehicles to deliver on company objectives of fleet electrification, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions while meeting capital and opex budgets
- Manages and provides governance on all activities relating to business continuity, disaster recovery and crisis management for CCX business units and operations
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner cross functionally with Cogeco stakeholders and external partners to implement and support the corporate ESG strategy-
- Present ESG, Fleet and Operations progress reports to Cogeco senior leadership team-
- Work cross functionally to develop and implement Eco Fees strategy and roadmap-
- Work with reporting and finance teams as well as vendors to identify and report on relevant Eco Fees-
- Suggest, develop and implement operational improvement opportunities to drive increased efficiencies and improve employee and customer satisfaction-
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures and programs that enhance operations and support the achievement of the company’s objectives.-
- End to end ownership of all fleet budgeting, operations and maintenance activities-
- Act as a thought leader in fleet roadmap and evolution.-
- Work with our fleet partners and stakeholders to renew Cogeco fleet and deliver on GHG and ESG targets-
- Participate in the assessment of needs, specifications and the selection of criteria in the process of acquiring, replacing and fitting out vehicles.-
- Work cross functionally with vehicle managers and drivers on opportunities for fleet improvementsAs needed, convene the Executive Crisis Management Team and involve the crisis communications team in response to various threats that could affect business operations-
- Actively participate and represent Cogeco in the working group made up of Canadian telecommunications companies in order to prepare and manage events of a more national nature or having a significant impact-
- Participate in the preparation of Capex and Opex budgets-
- Manage, coach and develop a team of coordinators, build a bench strength of future leaders-
- Other duties may be required.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
ACADEMIC TRAINING- Bachelor's degree in business administration or any other relevant discipline.- WORK EXPERIENCE- 5 years of relevant experienceSPECIFIC COMPETENCIES- Knowledge of Quebec and Ontario legislation regarding commercial vehicles.-

- Team player and self-motivator with strong problem-solving skills-
