To support our goals of delivering safe, reliable and clean power to the people of Toronto, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager, Operations who is committed to delivering excellent customer service, providing a safe and reliable supply of electricity, and delivering long-term value to our customers.
- Design and construction work execution, including capital and maintenance programs
- Customer and externally driven infrastructure expansion programs
- Grid operations and response and distribution stations planned and capital operating programs\

This position allows for remote work up to three days per week, based on business needs. Employees will be required to come onsite on those days when they are involved in activities that they or their leader feel are better conducted in person. You are expected to live in Ontario and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Masters level degree - Business Administration or Engineering (preferred)
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in the Province of Ontario
- Ten years of experience focused on design/construction project execution, with at least five years of experience in leadership positions, leading and inspiring high performing, safety focussed teams
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships with internal/external stakeholders
- Knowledge of electrical and civil design and construction
- Strong knowledge of the utilities sector
- Strong Influence and negotiation skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills
- Demonstrated project management skills
