**About The Position...**

We are looking for an experienced individual for the Peterborough area, this position is full time and permanent.

As the Finance Assistant, you will support a broad range of financial administration ensuring compliance with Fourcast’s organizational polices and procedures. Working closely with the Accountant/Financial Analyst you will process payroll and financial transactions, gather information in preparation of budget planning and monitor and reconcile many accounts. You will perform a variety of financial activities including processing payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices, expense reimbursements, journal entries, purchase orders and monitor budgets to ensure expenditures remain within budgeted allocations.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Requires completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, such as Accounting, Business or Finance.
- Minimum 2 -3 years’ experience working in a related position, preferably in the not-for-profit sector.
- Previous experience with payroll software an asset.
- Experience with data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and best practices related to payroll and finance management.
- Valid Ontario Class G drivers license.

Pay: $25.31-$29.71 per hour
