We are looking for an Associate, Accounts Receivable who will play a critical part in engineering top-notch products and services in a unique industry and at a rapidly growing organization. As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you will be responsible for supporting a finance process or transaction (in cash or invoicing) as well as supporting incoming cash for clients, refunds, rebates, and reconciles to the general ledger.
A Day in the Life- Ensure timely and accurate Daily/monthly balancing to the aged trial balance- Process maintenance request - Refunds, Voids, & write offs- DPO reconciliations, Canadian manual invoices, process credit card payments- Process bank returns- Cash Applications- Maintain the CA unidentified account, investigate and identify unapplied payments- Prepare deposit for remarketing, non-AR checks, and live checks for the bank- Support Genpact with any related AR questions, posting issues, EFT problems, system issues- Prepare and upload journal entries- Process service cloud cases within the targeted completion date- Prioritize daily workflow along with assignments as necessary to ensure requested transactions are handled within expected turnaround times- Support all internal and external audits responding promptly with the requested information
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree (Quantitative field, Finance, Business, or Technology preferred) or, three to five years related experience, or equivalent industry experience.- 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience and / or prior experience working in Fleet Services Industry preferred- Strong Microsoft skills, Excel, Word- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to work under pressure, using tact, discretion, and good judgment to respond to all request in a professional and courteous manner.- Keen eye for detail and ability to work independently- Ability to prioritize and manage expectations
