**Position Summary**

The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for providing day-to-day processing of payments received and reconciling to accounts.

**Specific Accountabilities**
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts
- Provide statements to clients
- Review and record all the branch transactions by credit card in timely manner
- Provide general administrative support to AR group
- Research unapplied cash
- Prompt identification of payment discrepancies and escalation to credit and collections representatives

**Qualifications**
**Education & Work Experience**
- High school graduation diploma (post-secondary education preferred)
- 2+ years of Cash Application/Credit/Accounts Receivable experience

**Competencies and Skills**
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills
- PC skills: MS Office (Excel/Word/MS Outlook) and ability to learn accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform a large volume of work

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12-18 months

**Salary**: $45,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
