Accounts Receivable Associate – Collections Focus

Key Responsibilities

  • Billing & Invoicing: Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in accordance with contracts and billing schedules. Upload invoice and contract details to customer payment portals.
  • Collections & Follow-Up: Monitor outstanding receivables and proactively follow up with customers to ensure timely payment while maintaining professionalism and positive relationships.
  • Customer Communication: Respond promptly to inquiries regarding invoices, payment terms, and account statements to resolve issues and remove obstacles to payment.
  • Documentation & Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., project managers, sales) to provide necessary documentation and support for billing and collections.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of collection activities and provide regular updates on outstanding balances and aging reports.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable and collections.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or collections.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
