Please be advised that the results of this competition may be used to fill subsequent vacancies of the same position within the next 6 months. **Job Summary**: Reporting to a Supervisor in Housing Services, this role will provide administrative and program support to the Housing Services Division. **Duties & Responsibilities**: - Provides administrative support to Housing Services staff, management and other stakeholders in the delivery of housing programs and services - Receives, organizes and manages client documentation to support program eligibility processes - Enters, updates, reviews, and validates client data in client management systems; Yardi Rent Café, Social Assistance Management System (SAMS), SIEBEL, and Client Outcome Tracking System (COTS) - Develops, implements and manages systems to support data reporting and analytics, ministry reporting requirements, and the assignment and tracking of program work - Develops and maintains relationship with internal partners and community agencies to coordinate and deliver program support and services - Supports planning and organization of team and divisional projects, meetings, events and action tables - Performs other duties as assigned **Skills & Qualifications**: **Essential** - Community college diploma in social services, administration or related field - Minimum of 2 years administrative work experience with emphasis on customer service in housing, social services or related field - Demonstrated knowledge of Halton Region’s Housing programs and services - Knowledge and understanding of the Housing Services Act, Ontario Works Act, Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to collaborate and problem solve effectively - Ability to build and maintain positive, professional working relationships with internal/external partners - Excellent administrative, time management, organization/planning and self-management skills **Working/ Employment Conditions**: **Employment Conditions** - In accordance with requirements in Ontario Regulation 191/11 - Integrated Accessibility Standards and the Ontario Human Rights Code, Halton Region will accommodate the needs of individuals with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.
