**Summary**

As the Bar and Resturant Supervisor at Smitty's Restaurant in St. Paul, you will oversee all fron of house operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality. Your leadership will be crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while managing a busy bar during peak hours.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage daily operations, including staffing, inventory, and customer service.
- Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent service and adherence to food safety standards.
- Develop and implement creative drink menus that align with customer preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of bar management.
- Interact with customers to enhance their experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front of house staff to coordinate food and drink pairings effectively.

- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among departments.

**Providing great guest experiences**:

- Meeting and greeting guests with a warm welcome and touching all tables during service.
- Ensure guest satisfaction is a top priority, with all staff consistently delivering exceptional service.
- Being attentive to guests’ needs and wishes, taking opportunities to optimize the guest experience.
- Addressing complaints with a personal touch to restore customer satisfaction.
- Provide coaching, training, and guidance to team.
- Handling the recruitment, selection, and hiring process for the service roles.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as Manager or similar role
- Bondable
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with Cash Handling
- Exceptional communication skills to interact with guests and staff alike.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
