Our team is comprised of heavy haul / project cargo experts from various industries such as project forwarding, rigging and specifically over the road transportation.

**MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Schedule and route trucks, work closely with drivers and customers to achieve / maintain the highest level of service levels.
- Maintain Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Maintain drivers dispatch records (paper and electronic) in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with both internal and external customers.
- Verify and ensure drivers know their schedules and adhere to them, while within all DOT regulations.
- Assist in ensuring that the company adheres to all FMCSA regulations - HOS, Logs, Mileage, Fuel, Repairs & Maintenance.
- Schedule time off work/vacations for drivers with recommendation for management approval.
- Assist in communicating company Health & Safety policies & objectives.
- All additional administrative activities to ensure that the company runs in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Ensure timeliness of customer invoicing and driver payroll.
- Understand driver Hours of Service for planning purposes, to ensure safe and legal load assignments to drivers.
- Able to plan freight on multiple drivers to ensure safe and efficient movement of customer loads.
- Able to plan multiple loads on drivers each day to increase freight volumes on each truck.
- Communication with the team when necessary to ensure efficient and positive relations and activities Level of systems knowledge to identify and solve problems.
- Strong understanding of FMCSA rules and regulations.
- Track service performance (KPI) against scheduled pickup/delivery and share report with management team
- Observe, track and make recommendation to management on how to improve services and costs
- After hours & weekends, as required to meet operational needs

**QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE**

**Education**:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1+ year of transportation dispatch
- Working knowledge of Revenova is an asset
- Owner Operator payroll is an asset

**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**

**LANGUAGE**:English

**COMPUTER**:Microsoft Office Software, Outlook, TMS systems

**KNOWLEDGE**:Knowledge of GPS systems and geography

- Exceptional multitasking skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
