Junior Dispatcher

At ET Transport, it is our mission to provide customers with reliable transportation solutions custom-tailored to their unique needs. ET Transport has two main terminals with warehousing facilities and 2 additional drop-yards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Finding availability, covering FTL and LTL shipments for Account Managers. In Bound, Out Bound and Cross Border load booking required.
- Arrange transportation, Dispatch load confirmations to carriers and fleet dispatchers, orchestrate pick-ups and deliveries to meet customer requirements.
- Managing activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met
- Tracking and tracing loads throughout the shipment process. Updating customers on shipment status in a timely manner.
- Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of different equipment to keep costs down where possible
- Updating shipment statuses and closing orders in dispatch software, uploading PODs into orders once a shipment has delivered.
- Working with Accounting Team to ensure customer invoices are billed correctly to the Customer and any billing discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner
- Following SOP procedures when on boarding new partner carriers, the brokerage department will be working with.

**Qualifications**:

- Dispatching experience
- Excellent Customer Service and geographical knowledge within North America an asset.
- Knowledge of: LoadLink, Dispatch softwares
- Knowledge of ACE, ACI, CTPAT, PIP, FAST, CSA, HAZMAT
- Must be a team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and must also be willing to be independent.
- Strong ability to work well under pressure, meet strict deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must have good negotiation skills be persuasive and energetic
