**WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED**

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our team in Waterloo, ON. In this role, you will ensure software development projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within scope. Your responsibilities will include task prioritization, tracking project deliverables, identifying and escalating risks, and maintaining clear communication with team members and stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with senior management and team leads to prioritize tasks based on project goals and deadlines.
- Track project deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Identify potential risks early and escalate unresolved issues to senior management promptly.
- Assist in managing various phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment.
- Facilitate team contributions by adding details, descriptions, and time logs to JIRA tickets.
- Engage with team members, developers, and management to address blockers and provide updates.
- Prepare weekly status reports for senior management, offering insights into project progress and any concerns.
- Organize or attend stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure meetings are focused and productive.
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing and that deliverables meet quality standards.
- Assist with day-to-day operations and ad-hoc tasks to support the senior project management team and operations.
- Monitor workload distribution to ensure resource needs are met.
- Maintain detailed project documentation for tracking and reference

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in project management.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Basic knowledge of technical terminology and tools relevant to software development.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical details into non-technical language for upper management.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities.

Pay: $50,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
