Superport Marine’s Accounting Clerk position offers an excellent opportunity to start and develop with a dynamic marine service company. We have been an industry leader and preferred employer in the Strait of Canso for over 40 years. This is a flexible position with the opportunity for a part-time or a full-time role based in Port Hawkesbury.

**Responsibilities**
- Working under the direction of the Chief Accountant, provide accounting and clerical assistance to the accounting department,
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records,
- Prepare invoices and follow up on accounts,
- Support the management of accounts payable and accounts receivable,
- Assist with entering employee timesheets in Quickbooks,
- Perform monthly credit card reconciliations,
- Prepare bank deposits, check runs and enter online banking payments for approval,
- Other accounting and clerical tasks as required.

**Required Qualifications and Skills**
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software. Experience with Quickbooks Enterprise Accounting Software an asset,
- Strong oral and written communication skills,
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
