**Postion Purpose**

Reporting to the manager, Early Talent & Employment Branding, the Early Talent & Campus Engagement lead will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing programs aimed at attracting, developing, and retaining early talent to support The Home Depot Canada’s strategic goals. This role will lead The Home Depot Canada’s early talent programs, including but not limited to; summer Internship/Co-op Program, Career Launch Program and on-campus engagement activities. An Early Talent & Campus engagement lead will be action-oriented, detail-focused, drives results, communicates effectively and flexible.

**Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities**

Early Talent Programs:

- Collaborate with departments and HR business partners to identify early talent opportunities that align with business needs.
- Lead the onboarding and training processes for early talent participants, managers, HR business partners, and mentors to ensure a high-quality experience.
- Partner with teams to develop necessary creative and communication assets for early talent programs.
- Plan and execute a year-round communications strategy to attract field talent to existing early talent programs.
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders, including HR partners, recruiters, and SSC/Field business leaders.
- Assess, improve, and implement engagement activities and programming related to early talent programs.

University and College Engagement:

- Build and maintain relationships with universities and colleges to attract top early career talent.
- Organize and participate in campus recruitment events, career fairs, and information sessions.
- Develop partnerships with academic institutions to create pipelines for future talent.
- Plan and execute on-campus leadership engagement activities, such as guest lectures, workshops, and networking events in partnership with key business leaders, HR Business partners and recruiters.
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders, including HR partners, recruiters, and SSC/Field business leaders, to ensure their participation and engagement in these activities.
- Measure the impact of engagement activities and report on outcomes.

Program Evaluation and Reporting:

- Create, track, and analyze program metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on program performance and present findings to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance early talent initiatives.
- Suggest and implement improvements in data tracking and reporting processes.

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies**:

- 2+ years’ experience managing projects with multiple business partners and external vendors is an asset.
- Experience within talent acquisition, human resources, and events is an asset.
- Previous experience with campus engagement is preferred.
- Relies on a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgement when making decisions.
- Experience in designing and implementing training and development programs.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
- Intermediate experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Tableau and Smartsheet.
- Bilingual (English/French) an asset.
- Collaborates: Ability to work cross-functionally and with multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Action Oriented: Identifies and seizes new opportunities; readily acts on challenges,
- without unnecessary planning.
- Drives Results: pursues everything with energy, drive, and the need to finish.

**Nature And Scope**:

- Reports to the Manager, Employment Branding & Early Talent.
- No direct responsibility for supervising others.
- Hybrid Role - In office 4 days a week.
