We seek an astute professional to oversee staffing data accuracy and facilitate communication across stakeholder groups. They do not directly manage resources but are responsible for tracking all the pertinent information (e.g., utilization capacity, assignment/availability, skills, and future resource needs) necessary to staff projects. This includes collecting project resource data to determine staffing needs and tracking evolving resource needs based on modified start/end dates and changes to project plan definitions. - Work with Program/Project Leaders to ensure resources (billables) are leveraged profitably. **Resource Forecasting & Demand Planning** - As a trusted advisor, work closely with the Functional Leadership Team and Business Development to interpret forecasted resource supply and demand. - Serve as a point of contact for resource-related inquiries, resolving issues promptly and effectively and escalating as necessary. - Drive engagements, including projection of future resource needs with project managers; translate project pipeline information into resource needs. - Run Resource Forecasting Reports to analyze, assess, and identify project resource gaps and surpluses. Identify opportunities for improvement and areas of concern and provide recommendations for action as needed. **Skills Inventory Management** - Analyze and identify critical skills gaps across the department and make recommendations on how to address them. - Strong collaboration with Functional Managers and understanding of employee skill sets, availability, and career aspirations to facilitate optimal resource allocation. - Work closely with Functional Managers to identify skills gaps while collaborating with the Instructional Design team to develop tailored content and curriculum for learning and development to meet project needs. **Resource Management & Reporting** - Facilitate resource management meetings and reports to support resource discussions, including resource utilization and relevant metrics reports throughout the organization. - Identify opportunities where underutilized resources can be leveraged in other projects based on the resource's skills. - Responsible for ensuring established resource management business processes are followed. - Gather and analyze metrics to monitor the performance of the overall resource management function. **What You Bring To The Team** The StarFish team is talented, innovative, and passionate about developing cutting-edge medical devices for our clients to improve people's lives.
