**Accounts Receivable Specialist**

**The Opportunity**
Reporting directly to the Controller, this is an opportunity to be the key Accounts Receivable Specialist in an organization. The company culture is fast-paced, entrepreneurial and collaborative. Day to day varies but your overall responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Daily interactions with customers handling enquiries related to their accounts while providing excellent customer experience
- Perform daily, and high-volume customer account reconciliation with high accuracy
- Assist with cheque requests and post deposits for multiple locations
- Work with the collection team to ensure timely payments
- Support other accounting and finance team members on projects on an as-needed basis

We are looking for a strong communicator that loves to be in an interactive role. In addition, we believe the following criteria would be helpful:

- This role is suited for someone with at least 3 years of accounts receivable experience in a customer service-oriented environment
- Post-secondary degree in accounting, finance, business administration or other related field is considered an asset
- Working knowledge of accounting software and the MS Office Suite (in particular MS Excel)
- Demonstrated ability to process high volume of transactions with accuracy and detail

**Location**
This in an office-based position (Monday to Friday) at our client’s head office in Burnaby. It is a spacious office with a social, professional yet very down to earth atmosphere.
