Inventory Supervisor

**Job Overview**

Reporting to the Receiving & Inventory Manager, the Inventory Supervisor will have the responsibility for supervising and coordinating all the inventory related functions and activities at the FYidoctors Delta facility. Several direct reports will provide support for day-to-day inventory related functions. The expectation is for the role to evolve over time and to involve cross-departmental responsibilities. From supervising and executing counts, to training and developing team members, this role will play a key role in the success of the warehouse and the lab overall.

**What will you be doing?**
- Coordination with managers, team leaders and staff as it relates to inventory activities
- Support with creating and maintaining standard operating procedures related to Inventory Management
- Organize and coordinate monthly consumables counts
- Organize and coordinate mid-year and end of year Inventory counts
- Oversee training and development of Inventory Specialist role
- Support with daily Inventory related tasks as needed
- Daily tracking and tracing of shipments from partner labs
- Purchase Order review and approval
- Managing and coordinating inventory that is stored offsite
- Oversee Purchasing role as it relates to the Delta Lab
- Work with other departments like purchasing, Accounting and Customer Service to ensure all requirements and service levels are met
- Support Product team with creation and maintenance of new and existing product as it relates to the Delta Lab
- Product Management in the ERP as it relates to Inventory and Warehousing
- Ensure that safe working practices are followed and supported
- Have a passion for LEAN practices and the process of continuous improvement
- Solid analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable leading and developing a small team of direct reports
- Excellent experience with ERP and WMS systems. Specific knowledge of NetSuite, RF-Smart, and Power Pick Global is an asset
- Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Strong sense of customer service, quality controls and operational excellence
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across departments in a matrix organization
- Proven ability to implement process improvement to deliver efficiency and value to the organization
- Ability to plan and organize working time and to multitask as required
- Ability to manage daily details and deliver on larger projects and process improvements

**Qualifications Include**
- Previous experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment is a requirement
- A diploma or degree in a related field
- 5+ years of inventory related supply chain experience
- Experience with WMS and or ERP systems preferably NetSuite

The expected compensation for this position is between $52,140 to $63,000 annually considering factors like experience, skills, and qualifications.
