**TRAINING INTERNSHIP in the Data Analyst/Customer Service Specialist/Research Associate Industry for Canadian College/University Students**

General Purpose: Preparation of materials and completion of specific projects, while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The intern will learn best practices in research, data analysis and customer service principles from experienced staff.

Responsibilities and tasks may include:

- Researching and 'digging' on the internet to find the required information
- Planning and organizing projects
- Analyzing data to produce reports and information to other departments
- Supporting the work of the customer service department
- Database updates
- Preparing customer communications
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Attending project meetings and providing follow-up support, including preparing meeting notes, agendas, action lists, reminders, and tasks.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Currently enrolled in a College or University program
- Interest in a role in customer service, data analysis and/or research
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Docs, and a basic computer knowledge
- Strong communication (verbal and written)

- This training is similar to that which is provided in a vocational school
- This training is for the benefit of you personally, to develop your skills, resume, etc.
- Your training supervisor will ensure that the activities you work on benefit you while you are being trained

**Job Type**: Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: $17.50 per hour
