**Interior Design AutoCAD Tech**

Artwell Design Studio is seeking an AutoCAD tech capable of completing interior construction working drawings, and assisting the designer with material selection and presentation preparation.

**Responsibilities**
- Produce interior working drawings that are clear, comprehensive and consistent to meet firms standards

**Qualifications**
- Canadian education background and local working experience are required
- Successfully completed or enrolled in AutoCAD course
- Experience with AutoCAD, 3D Software considered an asset (SketchUP and 3ds MAX)
- Experience with 2D design software considered an asset
- Experience with complex custom design detailing (furniture & millwork)
- Experience with creating detailed interior plans (floor plans, partition plans, reflected ceiling plans, power plans, finishes plans etc)
- Experience with developing interior elevations
- Great interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Liaise & create sound relationships with principal and designers
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Willingness to learn new processes and open to constructive feedback
- Self-motivated & creative, organized, enthusiastic
- Have sense of aesthetics, attention to detail, ability to work on multi tasks with positive attitude

**Job Type**:

- Full-time

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday, day shift (required)

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: minimum 1 year or more (preferred)
- Drafting: minimum 1 year or more (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)
- French not required

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
