**ROLE**:
The Residential Construction Lead is responsible for the smooth and safe operation of his/her crew in the absence of the immediate crew foreperson.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform a wide variety of skilled construction activity.
- Work cooperatively with supervisors, crew members and subcontractors.
- Address technical and organizational issues on site.
- Serve as a Lead Hand to Labourers in the absence of a Foreperson or Superintendent.
- Attend and participate in safety meetings.
- Note: In addition to these duties personnel are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required in order to support the objectives of the company._

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Qualifications_
- Various safety tickets/certificates as required depending on project.
- Experience_
- Previous 10+ years of experience as a Labourer in the residential construction industry.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role is considered an asset.
- Skills and Knowledge_
- Knowledge of residential construction industry is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures.
- Knowledge of handling hazardous materials and industry waste.
- Good vision and hand-eye coordination.
- Physically able to lift and handle heavy objects.
- Manual dexterity.

**REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS**:
The Residential Construction Lead reports to the Foreperson of his/her crew. The position provides guidance to labourers on his/her crew.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
