Seaspan Ferries is hiring for a permanent; full-time -Customer Service Operations Coordinator (CSOC).

As a CSOC, you will support Terminal Operations on the Lower Mainland, reporting directly to the Terminal Operations Lead. In this role you will be accountable for the safe and efficient handling of all traffic between Seaspan Ferries Mainland and the Vancouver Island terminals, with a strong focus on customer service in a 24/7 operation. The CSOC facilitates an end-to-end process from customer inquiries, accurate processing of bookings on the sailing network, coordinating & communicating with our terminal and vessel teams to ensure a seamless operation.

At Seaspan Ferries we operate 364 days of the year offering a 24/7 service to our customers at our Tilbury Terminal located at Delta & Surrey Terminal

**Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 7700 Hopcott Road, Delta.**

**What you’ll do**
- Monitor multiple operational dashboards and coordinate in concert with vessel & terminal teams
- Consistent validation of reservations / bookings against available capacity and follow up with when underutilized
- Coordinate efficient and safe loading and unloading of vessels with an on-time focus
- Exercise exceptional customer service skills while communicating effectively internally & externally
- Ensure the terminal is always in a ready state, following established SOPs outlined by the Manager, Terminal Operations
- Coordinate response during incidents; and accurately report and track using the safety management system
- Identify and seize opportunities to maximize capacity utilization
- Actively participate in all safety related initiatives, training, with a mind to continually improve

**What you’ll bring**:

- Flexibility to work in a variety of shifts in support of a 24/7 operation
- Ability to learn and complete certifications for Handling of Dangerous Goods, forklift & ramp operations.
- Completion of Grade 12 education
- Strong diligence to safety, ability to follow & implement standard policies and procedures to coordinate a safe, efficient, and seamless operation
- Possess a strong work ethic, excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, passion for customer service and ability to build relationships.
