Located on Annacis Island, Delta, B.C., in the heart of Vancouver's lower mainland, we are central to Deltaport, The Port of Vancouver and the USA border. We are looking for an experienced Customer Service/Account Manager to support our growing operations which is headquartered on Annacis Island. This is an excellent opportunity to be a key contributor in one of the Lower Mainland’s best warehousing and logistics companies. **Summary of Job Functions**: Responsible for managing and fulfilling the general administrative operations of the Head Office and coordinating Logistics activities from our various warehouses located throughout the Lower Mainland. **Key Duties and Responsibilities**: Responsible for maintaining an automated inventory management system (3PL Central), ensure control of all inventory, the distribution of goods and ensuring efficient operations of the Head Office. Shipping and receiving documentation of goods for the local, national and International marketplace. Assist management team with developing and complying with administrative and logistics procedures. Provide administrative support to the Management Team and assisting in preparing documents required for the Accounting department **Minimum Skills and Experience** Some post-secondary education, preferably in business administration, economics or commerce. Three or more years of experience in operations, logistics, office management and/or business administration are required. Proficient in use of software technologies for good logistics and office management, such as inventory tracking systems and shipping management, as well as experience with standard business office software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite of software and apps). Strong written and oral communication skills required for daily communications with customers and the management team. Excellent interpersonal skills, with natural ability to collaborate with diverse personalities; demonstrates professionalism and maturity and is adaptable to a changing work environment. Ability to work independently and take initiative to develop or optimize the internal office and logistics processes. Understands the importance of consulting and obtaining key management input when making decisions, and then take responsibility to execute project tasks successfully, in a timely manner and with high rate of success. Comfortable in performing long term multi-dimensional projects in conjunction with normal day-to-day activities. **Of special value would be knowledge of the "3PL Central" **Warehouse Management System software program. Some actual warehouse experience would also be of great benefit. **Compensation** $41,600 - $43,700 (with good growth potential).
