**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Campaign Planning and Execution**:

- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns that align with company objectives.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance and suggest improvements.
- Promote product and services for the Centre for Meat Innovation and Technology (CMIT)
- **Content Creation and Management**:

- Assist in the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, newsletters, and ads.
- Continue the development of BLOCKTalk magazine and deliver relevant and topical content for members
- Manage ads and vendor relationships for BLOCKTalk magazine
- Manage and update the company’s website and social media profiles.
- **Market Research and Analysis**:

- Analyze campaign performance data and generate reports to optimize future strategies.
- Assist in gathering feedback from customers and stakeholders.
- **Events and Competitions**:

- Help plan and coordinate events, webinars, trade shows, or other promotional activities.
- Coordinate logistics for events, including vendor management, promotions, and attendee communications.
- **Collaboration and Team Support**:

- Collaborate with other marketing team members, sales, and external partners to support cross-functional marketing activities.
- Assist in budget management and ensure campaigns stay within budget constraints.
- Maintain marketing calendars, timelines, and project management systems to ensure timely execution of tasks.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a marketing or related field (internships may be considered).
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing strategies, and social media platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative and proactive with a strong attention to detail.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with graphic design software (Canva Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- Knowledge of SEO and SEM strategies.
- Experience in event planning and execution.

**Work Environment**:

- This position may require occasional travel to events, trade shows, or meetings.
- Flexibility to work on some weekends or evenings depending on campaign schedules.
