**Scope**:
To work in a team-oriented environment with the Engineering Department. Delivery of excellent guest service using Hotel quality standards to maximize productivity and achieve safety, security expectations while maintaining value of property assets.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain all hotel equipment including kitchen equipment, laundry facility equipment, hvac and mechanical units and guestroom lock system as well as fire suppression and fire panel.

Perform minor repairs including drywall, wallpaper, painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical.

Respond and attend to guest room calls and concerns and conduct Guestroom Preventive Maintenance and Carpet Cleaning according to brand standards.

Conduct water tests and execute a water safety program to manage risk for water-borne pathogens.

Maintain hotel grounds including snow removal and maintenance of parking lot clean ups as well as trash and recycling.

Must have great problem solving skills and ability to follow up efficiently.

Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 45 lbs and must have the ability to use power tools.

Available to work morning, evening, weekends rotating as needed

**Relationships**:
Internal: All hotel staff especially Housekeeping and Guest services, for effective communication, to achieve departmental goals.

External: Hotel Guest: To provide service. Suppliers/Vendors: to achieve mutually beneficial relationships.

**Qualifications**:
Must have good knowledge in the field of facilities maintenance and be able to adapt well to changes in policies and procedures

Must be flexible in shift work, weekends and holidays as needed and On Call for emergency situations

Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work well independently

Team Player

Valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
