**Coordinator**
Reports To: General Manager
Coordinators work with homeowners, property managers, tenants and insurance companies after stressful events such as a fire or flood to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial properties. As a Coordinator, you will work directly within the reconstruction department and at times, along side each Project Manager, to ensure targets, and tasks are reached. Everyone within Paul Davis needs to have a world-class work ethic, serious attention to detail and enjoy helping people in their time of need. We are looking for individuals who are results driven and can manage several moving parts at one time.

**Team Qualifications (Requirements)**:
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Likes working with people and tradesman/women
- Clean criminal background check
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Highly Organized. Must be able to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Career emphasis on learning and continuing education
- Must be able to adapt to change
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Construction industry experience is an asset, but not necessary
- Thrives under high stressful situations and works well under stressful situation
**Role on the Team (Responsibilities)**:
- Ensure repair schedules are up to date and assist in job planning
- Complete permit packages, schedule building inspections throughout various repair phases, update all parties with outcomes and next steps.
- Obtain work authorizations and update repair schedules
- Communicate with all in house departments, insurance companies and homeowners
- Keep up to date records of subcontractors WSIB Clearance Certificates and Business Insurance.
- Coordinate access with the property owner or representative
- Create job folders with work orders for inhouse carpenters
- Ensure standards of professionalism are maintained during course of project.
- Organize and store job paperwork
- Answer phones
- Update work flows in various systems
- Participate in local community events
- Build relationships with key customers
- Seek partnerships to improve performance with vendors and trades professionals
- Works well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
